Telling or Writing a Story

As we have seen, the TELPAS Speaking & Writing sections will show you a picture or set of pictures and ask you to write a story about what you see.

Remember the 5 Categories:

• People

• Things

• Place

• Actions

• Feelings

​Don't freak out!!!

In your notebook, write a first draft of a story about happened to cause the boy to make this face. Use any of the following get you started:

• The story you wrote about on the last slide

• Someone else's story idea

• Create your own

It must be at least 8 - 10 sentences.

​Do as much as you can without using translate or a friend. If you don't know the word in English, use your own language.
