A mole is simply a unit of measurement, like a dozen, or a bushel, or a boatload.

A mole of something means 6.02x10²³ of that something.

So a mole of pick up trucks is 6.02x10²³ pick up trucks

Molar Mass

The molar mass, also known as molecular weight, is the sum of the total mass in grams of all the atoms that make up a mole of a particular molecule. 

The unit used to measure grams per mole. (g/mol) THIS IS IMPORTANT!
