Objective

Read this simple text.

Regina es una chica creativa. Ella camina a la escuela. Ella ve a su mejor amiga, Julieta. Regina le dice a Julieta, «¡Hola!».

Read this story, again.

Yo soy una chica creativa. Yo camino a la escuela. Yo veo a mi mejor amiga, Julieta. Yo le digo a Julieta, «¡Hola!».

The two texts were the same, but written from two different perspectives.

The act of modifying the verb (action) to communicate person, time, and mood.

To Conjugate:

Rule: actions ending in -O indicate I (present, right now)

He runs
She runs


Rule: actions ending in -E or -A indicate He/She (present, right now)

Rule: actions ending in -N indicate They (present, right now)

To conjugate a verb do describe "we" as the subject, we are going to end the verb in -MOS. For example:

• camina (she walks) --> caminamos (we walk)

• se sienta (she sits herself down) --> nos sentamos (we sit ourselves down)

• ve (she sees) --> vemos (we see)
