Non-Nationalist Loyalties

a rise in prices accompanied by a drop in purchasing power of money.

​Inflation

a system of ideas, a set of beliefs or a way of thinking.  An ideology may be influenced by culture, language, heritage and values.

​Ideology

a feeling of being left out or on the outside.  People who choose one strong loyalty over another may be alienated from an important part of their identity and may not share in the collective consciousness of their group. 

​Alienation

the forced separation of racial groups.  Extreme loyalty to one racial group can lead to separate schools and living areas for racial minorities and eventually to ultranationalism and persecution of those minorities.
