5.3.3 Outline

• Open your PSA Project Notes document.

• Your notes should be filled in with relevant evidence from at least three credible sources.

Step 1: Get Prepared

• You can use an outline to organize your research in a logical way

• You do not need to write out paragraphs of text yet, but you do need to show how your research supports your PSA message

• To learn about what needs to be included in each part of the outline, we are going to watch the video on page 3 of today's edio lesson

Step 2: Understanding the Outline

• Download the blank outline template from page 4 of today's edio lesson

• The rest of class is independent work time to complete the outline

• After you finish working, make sure that you save your outline by clicking "File, Save As"

• When you have finished and saved the outline, submit it on page 4 of the edio lesson

• If you would like to look at an example outline, check page 3 of your edio lesson

Step 3: Work Time

• Your outline is due TODAY! You cannot submit the lesson blank!

• After you have submitted your outline, the rest of class is choice time. You can be working on:

  • iReady Reading Practice

  • Silent Reading

  • Get help from Mrs. Massack

  • Overdue Edio Lessons
