Apa itu Tenses?

Tenses dalam bahasa Inggris digunakan untuk menunjukkan waktu terjadinya suatu kejadian. Ada tiga tenses utama yang penting untuk dipahami:
1. Simple Present Tense
2. Simple Past Tense
3. Simple Future Tense

Simple Present Tense

✅ I play soccer every day.
✅ She likes ice cream.
✅ The sun rises in the east.

❌ He like ice cream. (Harusnya likes)

Contoh:

Digunaka untuk:
- Kebiasaan atau sesuatu yang sering terjadi
- Fakta umum
Rumus:
Subjek + Verb-1 (+s/es untuk He, She, It)

Waktu Sekarang

Simple Past Tense

✅ I watched a movie yesterday.
✅ She went to the market last week.
✅ They played football.

❌ I watch a movie yesterday. (Harusnya watched)

- Kejadian yang terjadi di masa lalu
Rumus:
Subjek + Verb-2

Waktu Lampau

Simple Future Tense

✅ I will visit my grandmother tomorrow.
✅ She will buy a new dress next week.
✅ They will go to the park.

❌ He will goes to school. (Harusnya will go)

Contoh:

Digunaka untuk:
- Kejadian yang akan terjadi di masa depan
Rumus:
Subjek + will + Verb-1

Masa Depan

Kesimpulan
