12Lit: A brief introduction to Australian colonial artworks

The focus of this self-paced online lesson is to introduce you to two colonial artists that Joan Ross draws from in her exhibition Joan Ross: Those trees came back to me in my dreams.

​You will examine information, be asked to share your initial thoughts in open-ended long answer questions and then, towards the end, be quizzed on your memory of what you've studied.
Note that this lesson uses a range of photos. If, for some reason, this quiz does not load the photos, you can access a PowerPoint version on OneNote.

We will attend an excursion on Friday.
Ensure that your parents or guardians have given you permission to attend (all families have been emailed a permission slip).
Bring any medication with you and meet in our usual classroom at the beginning of period 3.
