​Ques1: Monu has 5 toffees Ruhaan gave him some more toffees now he has 9 toffees how many toffees did Ruhaan gave to Monu

​Explanation : As we don't know how many toffees did Ruhaan gave Mohan so we will use a literal that could be any small alphabet
Equation: 5 + x = 15
here we have to find the value of x
as we know that if a number goes to opposite side of the sign equal to so the sign of +5 will be -5
Equation: x= 15-5
therefore: x = 10

​6y-5= 19
First step is to solve the equation
6y-5+5 = 19 +5
6y = 24
y = 24/6
therefore y = 4
Checking
substitute the value of y i.e. 4
l.h.s 6x4 -5 = 19 R.H.S
Hence L.H.S =R.H.S
