Working in teams of two people, you must familiarise yourself with the use of digital solutions in the hospitality (food and beverages) sector.

To do this you may:
• use the information provided in the Set Task Brief
• carry out an independent investigation
• share and receive findings with others.

You may wish to consider:
• secure online booking systems
• stock control systems (including Point of Sale systems)
• data analysis and modelling.

Outcomes for submission
The purpose of this pre-release is to enable you to become familiar with the ways in which digital technology is used within the identified industry. You are not required to submit any evidence for this pre-release. You are permitted to make notes during the pre-release period but will not be allowed to take these into the assessment
