In 1953, scientists announced the structure of DNA, which changed science forever. You may have heard that Watson and Crick were given credit for discovering it, but they used important data collected by Rosalind Franklin, who did not receive the recognition she deserved at the time.

How can we make sure scientists from marginalized groups get proper credit for their work? Do issues like this still happen today?
