​Be + Going To is used for planned actions or predictions based on evidence.

Structure: Subject + am/is/are + going to + base verb

​Uses

1. Used for plans made before speaking:
   Example: I am going to visit my grandparents this weekend.

2. Used for predictions based on evidence:
   Example: Look at those clouds! It is going to rain soon.

​Difference Between "Will" and "Be + Going To"

1. "Will"
