3. Multiply the common prime factors raised to their smallest powers.

LEAST Common MULTIPLE (lCM)

The LCM of two or more numbers is the smallest number that is a multiple of all the numbers.

Steps to Calculate LCM Using Prime Factorization:

1. Find the prime factorization of each number.

2. Take all prime factors that appear in any of the numbers.

3. For each prime factor, use the highest power that appears.

4. Multiply these factors together.
