Irregular -ER and -IR verbs in the imperfect form

Ir - to go

Notice that the Verb Ir does not take the ía ending like the rest of the IR verbs. It looks more like an AR verb. Notice the only form that has an accent is the nosotros form.

Ir - to go

You probably recognize the verb in its yo form. A lot of imperfect sentences start with, Cuando era niño.(when I was a kid). Notice the only form that has an accent is the nosotros form.

Ser - To be

Ver is irregular because it keeps its e instead of dropping it to add the ending. Notice ALL formats have an accent mark over the I.
