Argumentative Text
Argumentative text, or persuasive text, attempts to convince someone to do something, like something, or feel something. It appeals to your logic and emotion.​​

Example: A dentist argues that you should floss your teeth (to keep your teeth & gums healthy.)

Parts of an Argumentative Text:

1​) A Claim or Opinion (What are they trying to get you to do?)

2) Supporting Details/Evidences/Facts to support their claim​ (more than one)
3) Intended audience
