1. The bad news is that more than half the weight of
certain sticks of gum is sugar. This can harm your
teeth. But the good news is that chewing gum can
help wash sugar and small bits of food into your
stomach. So chewing sugarless gum after a snack can
be helpful. And some scientists claim that, besides
helping you feel more calm and mellow, chewing
gum can help you feel more awake.
