A tourist is a person who travels to popular destinations most often for pleasure and relaxation. They may travel alone, with family, or with a large group of people.

A traveler is a person who travels to a destination to learn, explore, and discover the world. Many people travel solo so they have the liberty of doing whatever they want.

However, both tourists and travelers are people who travel to destinations, and there is not a big distinction between the two.

​Attractions play one of the biggest roles in tourism. It is most often the primary purpose of travel. An attraction is anything that motivates and draws a tourist to a destination.

Refers to how a tourist can get to the destination. Can be air, road, railway, or sea.

Tourism cannot exist without the element of accommodation. When people travel, they need a place to stay during the night.

The cost involved in traveling to a destination, staying there, and enjoying the activities there.
