​After class ends, anyone who attended class live will be able to blank-submit today's lesson for credit. Anyone who watches the recording after class must still complete all lesson items in edio to earn credit.

​Take a look at the character of the Miller, looking specifically at lines 578-581. Look for words and phrases that show how the Miller treats his customers.

​This is Chaucer’s way of warning sensitive readers that “rudeness” will probably ensue.

Chaucer appears to be apologizing in advance, but actually, he seems to enjoy shocking his readers.
