One Step Equations

​Goal:

Solve one step equations by isolating the variable. Today we will focus the inverse operations of multiplication and division.

Important Note: Remember the signs rules used when multiplying and dividing integers.

Same signs = Positive
Mixed Signs = Negative

​Procedures:

1) Determine what is attached to the variable.
2) Use the inverse operation to isolate the unknown.
3) Check your answer.
