While Arabic is the official language in these countries, some consider French the langue d'ouverture, a language that can lead to opportunities for multiculturalism (promotion of multiple cultures) and success. A new generation of creative writers, musicians, and filmmakers from these countries enrich cultural relations by bringing together French and ethnic traditions in their art.
