Simplifying Square Roots

A number whose product by itself gives the number within the radicand.

1) Perform prime factorization on the radicand.
2) For every pair of a factor its root is cancelled by the power, and it can be removed from the root.
3) Multiply together all values outside the root as a coefficient, and all remaining values within the root as the new radicand.
