Untuk data yang cukup Besar ( n > 30 ) sebaiknya menggunakan tabel distribusi frekuensi. Tabel distribusi frekuensi dibagikan menjadi 2 yaitu :
1. Tabel distribusi frekuensi untuk data tunggal
2. Tabel distribusi frekuensi untuk data kelompok

Langkah-langkah membuat tabel distribusi frekuensi berkelompok adalah sebagai berikut :
1. Tentukan Jangkauan (J) = Data maks - Data min
2. Tentukan banyaknya kelas (k) = 1 + 3,3 log n
3. Tentukan panjang kelas (p) = J/k
4. Tentukan batas bawah kelas interval
1. J = 88 - 30 = 58
2. k = 1 + 3,3 . log 30
= 1 + 3,3 . 1,477
= 1 + 4,874 = 5,874 dibulatkan 6
3. p = 58/6 = 9, 67 dibulatkan 10
4. batas bawah kelas 30 ( boleh mengambil data terkecil)

Tabel distribusi frekuensi berkelompok sebagai berikut :
Batas atas kelas interval I = batas bawah + p - 1
= 30 + 10 - 1 = 39
