​Passes to the LMC

All students need a hall pass and student ID to enter the library.
You may send 4 students at a time to the library unaccompanied with a hall pass.
If for some reason you need to send more than 4 students to the library, please call the library to let me know your situation so I can be prepared.

6:20 AM- 2:50 PM
After school only by reservation.
If you want to use the library to host and event or to bring your class, please use send an e-mail or contact us.

How can Mrs. Jimenez collaborate & Support me?

I can collaborate with you while you visit the library showing your students how to access and evaluate information for the projects you have assigned, teaching a library lesson (audiobooks, manga vs graphic novels, puzzle & writing exploration, etc.) or collaborating with you in one of your lessons.

English Class

Introducing the databases including citation by MLA: students learned how to log in and use the database for controversial topics arising from the novel 1984

Social Studies Class

Introducing the HS Texquest database including citation and picture copyrights: students were researching civil rights leaders and personalities

Each month we offer a mini-lesson, these are some examples:

October- How to access the library online
November-Non-fiction books
December- Audiobooks

During August we will offer "Library orientation/refresher" a 20 minutes lesson, do you want to sign up?

​At the LMC teachers can also

• Check out books-1 month

• Meet for CBPL

• Meet with librarian to help you with a lesson plan

• Request the LMC for meetings or classes

• Come for lunch/breaks
  

​At the LMC teachers can also

• Use the printer (bring your paper and use the visual aide if you need help) and use it ONLY for color.

• Request lamination

• Request a poster printed

• Any request takes 24-48 hours
