Relative Clauses
คือ อนุประโยคที่ทำหน้าที่เสมือน Adjective โดยตามหลัง Relative Pronoun (who, which, that, whom, whose, where, why) โดยจะบอกให้รู้ว่าสิ่งที่กำลังพูดถึงอยู่นั้น เป็นใครหรืออย่างไร
เช่น I like people who are polite and honest.
ตัวอักษรสีแดงนั้นเรียกว่า relative clause
ทั้งประโยคแปลว่า ฉันชอบคนที่มีความสุภาพและ ซื่อสัตย์
I like people แปลว่า ฉันชอบคน
who are polite and honest แปลว่า ผู้ซึ่งมีความสุภาพและซื่อสัตย์

who หมายถึงผู้ซึ่ง ใช้กับบุคคล
which หมายถึงอันซึ่งใช้กับสิ่งที่ไม่ใช่คน
whose หมายถึง ของผู้ซึ่งใช้กับสิ่งที่ตัองการบอกความเป็นเจ้าของ
where ที่ซึ่ง ใช้กับสถานที่
whom หมายถึงผู้ซึ่งใช้กับบุคคลที่ถูกกระทำ
