​Can you think of a time when someone gave you advice with love and compassion? How did it make you feel?

​Think of the advice you believe is important to give to your friend

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said

“The deen (religion) is naseehah (advice, sincerity)

” We said, “To whom?” He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said 

“To Allah, His Book, His Messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk”

What is the significance of advice?

1.It is for the benefit and

good of the person being
advised.

2.It is an important part of

our religion.

3.It saves society from

corruption

What is the meaning of Advice?

Naseeha (نصيحة) is the Arabic word for advice. It can also mean
recommendation or sincerity (particularly in Islamic contexts).
Prophet Muhammad described deen (religion) as naseehah (advice,
sincerity).[1] Seeking naseeha is mostly looked upon positively,
as an act of devotion

Meaning of the Hadith

The hadith makes clear that one of the core
aspects of true faith is to give good advice, to wish well,
and to act towards everything with honesty and sincerity
.

1.Giving advice for Allah: it means the call to faith
and to believe in his Oneness; and to follow his
commands and to avoid his prohibitions

2.Giving advice for his book: to believe
in the Holy Quran is the word of Allah,
it is an act of worship by reciting and
committing to its rules.

3.Giving advice for the messenger of Allah
(pbuh): To believe and obey him in every
command and warning, because obeying the
prophet is obeying Allah

4.Giving advice for the leaders of the Muslims: to
assist them in establishing truth and justice and to
follow them unless they disobey Allah.

5.Giving advice for the general Muslims:
It means calling them to Islam and guiding
them to do good deeds and stay away from
bad deeds.

Giving advice is obligatory on every
Muslim to his Muslim brother.

5.To be committed to good manners

The prophet(pbuh) said ((Whoever advises

his brother secretly, actually, he
advised him, and whoever advises in
public, he had, actually, exposed and
humiliated him))
