A valid argument is a logical connection between a set of premises (statements or reasons) and a conclusion, such that if the premises are true, the conclusion must also be true.

A valid argument is like a good recipe. It means that if you follow the steps in the recipe (the premises), you will get a tasty dish (the conclusion).
