(Inversion 倒裝句)

​肯定句 : 寫法有2種

e.g. 我等爸爸到午夜。
(1) I waited for my father until midnight.

(2) Until midnight, I waited for my father.

否定句:寫法有５種

1. My father didn’t come home until midnight.
2. Until midnight, my father didn’t come home.
3. Not until midnight did my father come home.(否定倒裝句)
4. Only when it was midnight did my father come home.(否定倒裝句)
5. It was not until midnight that my father came home.(分裂句)

a.關係代名詞與不定量詞
(one、some、most、many、all、none) 的連用

1.You will have 5 roommates, and all of them are nice.
2. You will have 5 roommates; all of them are nice.
3. You will have 5 roommates, all of whom are nice.
