Comparing decimals can be tricky!

Compare 1.32 and 1.302

We cannot say that 1.302 is bigger because it has more digits.

1. Decimal point in the same place.
2. Compare from left to right.

Recall that decimal is a base 10 system!
Hence when we convert decimal to a fraction, we write the denominator as a multiple of 10, 100, 1000 etc, corresponding to the number of decimal places.
