•Often used in formal writing (don't over use it)

Structure

Subject + verb to be + verb in past participle + complement

EXAMPLE

I clean the house

The house is cleaned

Christopher Nolan creates great movies.
Great movies are created.

Fox studio is making a new Deadpool movie.
A new Deadpool movie is being made.

Pixar released Toy Story on 1995
Toy Story was released on 1995
