-After opening Photoshop you will see the Workspace
-This is where you can see your projects, tool bars, groups and panels

-This is where many tools the can select, recolor, reorient, direct, write, and draw tools live

​-There are 7 different types of tools
-Selection tools can select parts of images you wish to modify
-Slice tools will cut out pieces of selected images
-Retouching tools can recolor, enhance, diminish and fix images
-Painting and Drawing tools allow you to create shapes and marks on the work

The Tool Bar

The menu bar is where you can save, open new, modify tool bar tools, use more in depth features compared to the tools, as well as change/modify layers, filters, views, selections, change text sizes, change tabs and do things like center text

This is where pop up panels help to give options to modify things

​This is also where you can go to modify different layers by locking, hiding, deleting, linking, and adjusting/creating layer groups
