An arrangement of cells in columns and rows used to organize, analyze, calculate and report information usually in numerical form.

User can organize and manipulate data create chart and perform calculations.

Allows user to create large spreadsheets, reference information and it allows for better storage of information.

It is used to create a wide range of different types of files. example Word files (.doc, .docx)
