Let's refresh our memories:

Modifiers don't just have to be single words.
Modifiers can be:
- Prepositional Phrases
- Participial Phrases
- Infinitive Phrases

Participial Phrases

Verbal phrase - secret agent
Act as adjectives
Verb form ending in -ed, -ing, etc.
Example: Seeing itself in the mirror, the kitten was startled.
