  • Modifiers don't just have to be single words.

  • Modifiers can be:

    • Prepositional Phrases

    • Participial Phrases

    • Infinitive Phrases

  • Verbal phrase - secret agent

  • Act as adjectives

  • Verb form ending in -ed, -ing, etc.
