Frida Kahlo was born on July 6th 1907

​She was born and lived in la Casa Azul.

​At age 18 she suffered an accident. The bus she was on, was ran over by a tram. She started painting while she was recovering from her injuries.

Frida Kahlo got married with another artist called Diego Rivera.

​Some of her most famous paintings are:

​Las dos Fridas.

Viva La Vida.

Diego en mi pensamiento.

​She worked as a teacher in 'La Esmeralda'; her students were known as 'Los Fridos'

​Frida Kahlo was proud of her mexican origins. She regularly wore a 'huipil', which some mexican women still wear nowadays.
