You will need to have your glued-together infinity card with you to do this lesson.

Open your card to the part that looks like the picture.
This shows the parts of a nucleotide.
First Side - Parts of a Nucleotide

Write the labels in red on your infinity card.
These are the basic parts of all nucleic acids,
In this lesson we will learn about 3 specific nucleic acids

The second side of your card shows Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid otherwise known as DNA.
You don't have to write anything on this card, but notice that DNA has 2 strands wound together.
Also, the 4 molecules at the top are the 4 different nitrogenous bases DNA can have.

The third side of your card shows Ribose Nucleic Acid or RNA
You still don't have to write anything if you don't want to, but notice the differences between DNA and RNA:
RNA only has 1 strand instead of 2
and RNA has Uracil instead of Thymine. RNA also has a Ribose sugar instead of the Deoxyribose in DNA

The last side of your card is Adenosine Triphosphate aka ATP (make sure you label this).
ATP is a ribose sugar, adenine base, but it has 3 phosphate groups instead of 1.
ATP works like a cellular battery. (We will learn more about it later)
