exponents (powers)?
●If negative exponent in the numerator (top half of a fraction) that base moves to the bottom AND changes from negative to positive.
●If negative exponent in the denominator (bottom half of the fraction) that base moves to the top AND change from negative to positive.
●If there isn't a fraction written, we use the expression given as the numerator and write the denominator as 1.
