Perspective

Your perspective is the way you see something. If you think that toys corrupt children's minds, then from your perspective a toy shop is an evil place. Perspective has a Latin root meaning "look through" or "perceive," and all the meanings of perspective have something to do with looking.

Argument

An argument is a claim with reasons that are supported by evidence. • Think of it as a Formula: ARGUMENT = CLAIM + REASONS + SUPPORTING EVIDENCE • An argument is different than an opinion because it is always supported by evidence and not just reasons.

We can examine a character’s experiences to analyze or understand their perspective.
