​What is an "advertisment"?

Verbs we are going to learn today:

1st group for reading aloud:

to fail to do or experience something, often something planned or expected, or to avoid doing or experiencing something

To miss -

to put or take food into the mouth, chew it (= crush it with the teeth), and swallow it

To eat -

(an amount of) liquid that is taken into the body through the mouth

To drink -

to (cause to) change position / to go to a different place to live or work

To move -

to believe something or have an opinion or idea

To think -

to obtain, buy, or earn something

To get -

to get pleasure from something

To enjoy -

to get something by paying money for it

To buy -

the flavour of something, or the ability of a person or animal to recognize different flavours

To taste -

to be unable to remember a fact, something that happened, or how to do something

To forget -

​Answer some questions:

1. What is the advertisment like in your hometown / country?

2. What do you like to eat?

3. What do you prefer to drink?

4. What are some things that you want to forget? Explain why.

5. What is the most expensive thing you have bought?

6. What activities do you usually enjoy doing?

7. Think a bit about people or things that you are missing. Do you want to get them back? Or do you need to move from them as far as you can?
