Price is one of the key indicators of fast fashion. These clothes are usually priced lower compared to designer or sustainable brands.

Look at the tag in the article of clothing you have picked 

Is it made from synthetic materials like polyester, nylon, spandex, or acrylic?

Fast fashion items are typically made to be worn for a short period of time before being replaced by new trends. This means that the quality of stitching, seams, and overall construction may be lower compared to higher-end brands.

Take a look at your item of clothing. Does it have any  loose threads, uneven hems, weak buttons, or holes?

Fast fashion brands are constantly releasing new styles and following the latest trends.  

Does the item of clothing you are wearing closely resemble the latest fashion trends or are similar to what you've seen on social media? Do your friends have similar looking items?

 Fast fashion is often associated with overseas production, where labor costs are lower.
