​Reduce means to use less. You can reduce the use of paper, plastic and more. For example, you can write on both sides of a piece of paper, use metal straws instead of plastic. You can save energy by turning the lights off when you leave a room or save water by turning the tap off while you are soaping your hands etc.

​Recycle means to take trash or old products and turn them into something new. You can recycle paper such as newspapers, old notebooks and magazines. You can recycle glass such as jars, broken glass objects and glass bottles. You can recycle plastic such as plastic bottles, yoghurt cartons as well as metal such as aluminium cans etc.

​Reuse means to use again. You can fill reusable bottles with water each day, take reusable bags for shopping, give away old clothes or toys to friends or people in need etc.
