​Mobs

​Mobs are one part of minecraft, they all give experience (XP) when killed. There are 2 types of mobs, hostile and friendly.

​Hostile Mobs:

Hostile mobs can only spawn at night, they can attack with a certain amount of damage to a player, they also have a certain amount of health. The 4 common hostile mobs are Zombies, Creepers, Skeletons, and Spiders.

Friendly mobs are mostly animals, but there are also villagers and iron golems. villagers trade items for emeralds and iron golems protect villages. The 4 common animals are Sheep, Chickens, Cows, and Pigs. When killed, they give XP and raw food.

Moving the player

In order to move the character, you must move the joy-stick at any direction, if you're on console. If your on Mobile or PC, you tap/click the keys or buttons.

​​ Gathering tools
Gathering tools are important in minecraft. You can make tools such as swords, pickaxes, and axes. You can also make other things like the bow, the compass, and the clock.

Crafting
Now in order to craft tools, armour, blocks, furniture, etc. You need to do some Crafting first. Crafting is the most important thing to do in minecraft, it's also in the name of the game. In your inventory, there is a small 2x2 square, you can make a crafting table with 4 wood planks and with 3x3 square.

Into the caves!

​Mining
The caves contains stone, ores, and mobs. In order to get ores and some stone, you must mine them by using a pickaxe. Mining is also important in minecraft, it's how you can unlock more recipes, more tool upgrades, and you get more ores. There are 6 different pickaxes, and 10 different ores.

​The Nether is a dimension that is linked to the Overworld via Nether portals. It is filled with rugged terrain, fire, seas of lava, columns of lava, Netherrack, unique ores, and unique hostile mobs. You can get to this dimension by building a portal with 12 obsidian, you can get obsidian by mixing water and lava together.

The Nether

The end is another dimension that is dark and space-like. This dimension contains a boss called, the ender dragon. The ender dragon has abilities such as, the dragon's breath. The ender dragon can take 3-5 hearts based on the difficulty, and if you beat it, it gives about 12,000 xp orbs, which is 68 levels. The quickest way to beat the ender dragon is by using beds to explode, But in order to get to the end, you must make ender eyes by crafting it with blaze rods and ender pearls to travel to the stronghold. You must have 7-12 ender eyes to fill the portal.
