VERB TENSES

PAST TENSE

​Talks about things that are finished or were done in the past.

example:

1. I was at my house yesterday. I played with my sisters.
2. They cleaned the house last week. I helped them too.
3. The dogs barked as the kids jumped from fence to fence. They were very scared.



Usually, PAST TENSE VERBS end with an ED

Talks about what is happening NOW or something that happens all the time.

Ex:
1. She plays the violin everyday.
2. McDonald's cook burgers.
3. My brother stays with his friends
during the afternoon.


Usually, present tense only uses it's
simple form.

PRESENT TENSE

This usually talks about things that have not happened yet or things that will happen in the future.
Ex.
1. We will go to Japan next year.
2. I will visit my grandparents on monday.
3. We will play games tomorrow.

Usually, FUTURE TENSE VERBS start with will and uses a simple form of verb.
