Here are 2 irregular verbs: hacer (to do, to make) and escoger (to choose).   They both end in -er, so their endings all have -e in them, but what makes these special is the "yo" form.  Take a look, they each change 1 letter:  yo hago (with a g) and yo escojo (with a j).
