What is a suffix?

A suffix is a letter or a group of letters that are placed at the end of the word to create a new word.

For example: transform - transformation

​One of the most common suffixes is ”ion”

It turns verbs into nouns, for example connect - connection, decorate - decoration, expect - expectation
