What is cellular Respiration?

Cellular respiration is the process in which organisms use O2 to break down food mollecules.

Why does it break down the food molecules?When it breaks it down it gets chemical energy for cell functions.

What it does when breaking down food molecules...

​It occurs in two places.One of the places it occurs is in the cytoplasm.

Where does it Occur?

The Second place it occurs is in the Mitochondria.

Where does it occur?

To Generate usable ATP energy to help support a lot of other reactions in the body.

Why does it occur?

​Cellular Respiration converts O2 to water and Carbon Dioxide.

​Cellular Respiration also converts glucose into Water and Carbon dioxide.

Why is it so important?

They are the only reason our cells function correctly.Because they provide the energy they need to function correctly. With-out them our cells wouldn't be able to work as they need to.
