Offer means to present,
introduce, or propose a help or an
assist for consideration.
Offering something is a way for
someone to offer help to other
either physical or abstract

This is the common expression to
offer help. The word “May” is a way
to get permission to help.
May/Can I Help You ?
It is a formal expression, especially
when we offer help to older people
or someone whom we don’t know
It is less formal than “May I Help
You”. It is almost similar with “How
Can I Help You?”
What Can I do For You?
It is used if someone needs our
help, then we agree to help him/her
It is used to suggest an action in the
future.
What If ..... ?
It is usually used with the Present
Tense of the verb.
Example :
• What if I finish the number five
for you?
• What if I print the material for
you?
