​Warm Up

The warm up for today is going to be coin sorting. In your draw you will find your coin sorting board. During that time I will check off your homework. The way this works is I am going to give you some coins and you will have to sort them and put them under either the 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1 or $2 depending on their value.

During this time you will be able to finish off any homework that you haven't already done. This time can also be used if you have any questions about what we are currently learning.

Body of the lesson

For the main part of this lesson we will play shops we will take in turns being the shop keeper. the aim of the shop keeper is to be able to add up and calculate if there is enough change or identify when it is the right amount. The person buying the items will have to give the right amount of money or more.
