What is Photosynthesis?

The plants draw up water through the roots of the plant and leaves take CO2 from the air. CO2-carbon dioxide

what do plants use for growth?

plants use sugar for growth, and need nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

​Where does photosynthisis occor?

in plants or algae,, photosynthesis happens in the specialized intracellular organelle—the chloroplast.

why does this occur?

Plants produce their own food. They use photosynthesis to transform water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide into oxygen, and sugars that the plant uses.

​How does this apply to humans?

Humans do not have chlorophyll so they aren't able to perform photosynthesis. But they use products like food and oxygen which is important for us to all survive.

Do any other things go through photosynthisis?

NO!! the only thing that goes through photosythisis!

What is CO2 and H2O?

CO2 is carbon dioxide and O2 is 2 oxygen.
H2O is water 2 hydrogen 1 oxygen.

yes it makes sugar and oxygen from the sun!!
