Adverbs of manner

​Adverbs of manner tell us how something happens. They are usually placed either after the main verb or after the object.

After the Main Verb:

1. She sings beautifully.

2. He writes quickly.

After the Object:

1. She painted the wall carefully.

2. He cleaned the room thoroughly.

1. Quickly: He ran quickly to catch the bus.

2. Carefully: She handled the fragile vase carefully.

3. Quietly: The baby slept quietly.

4. Loudly: They cheered loudly at the concert.

5. Happily: The children played happily in the park.

1. Slowly: The tortoise moved slowly in the race.

2. Gracefully: The ballerina danced gracefully on stage.

3. Efficiently: The new software helped them work more efficiently.

4. Angrily: He shouted angrily at his friend.

   These adverbs of manner provide additional information about how the actions are being carried out, enhancing the descriptions in sentences.
