My name is Mia and two years ago, my family moved to Toronto in Canada. It’s a

huge city and millions of people live here. My mum is a dentist and she works in the
city centre. My dad is an engineer and he works for a big company.

I usually get up at seven o’clock and I take the bus to school. The journey takes

about 20 minutes. My school is great. There are 32 children in my class and I have
lots
of friends. Next year I’m going to play in the school basketball team.

There are lots of great shops here. I usually meet my friends at the weekend and we

go shopping or we go to the park. There are lots of nice cafés, too. My favourite
place is the park. We often meet there.

Today is Saturday and I’m going to the cinema with my family then we’re going to

have a pizza. I love pizza. There’s lots to do in Toronto. It’s a great place to live.
