When there are several parentheses sets, start
from left to right.

Example:

Write 20 divided by 5

​Quotient means to divide.

Evaluate expressions

Example:

Evaluate 2(5) - 3²

2(5) - 3² = 2(5) - 9 Evaluate exponents.
