a. if items can be reused, use as many times as safe (some products break down and can cause harm)

6. Repurpose

a. find an alternative to disposal

b. conserve other materials by finding another way to use what you have

7. Recycle

a. check where the items in your bin go

b. choose a recycling center that reduces waste

a. do I need this?

b. is there a better choice?

c. do I already have something I can use?

2. Reconsider

a. think about the options

b. consider second hand

c. ask friends and family for unused items

3. Refuse

a. if you can, do without
